Canva is an online graphics creation application that allows you to build your own images. They have many backgrounds and items to add. Once you have created what you want, you can download it for $1.00.
PicMonkey is a low-cost photo and graphics editor that is easy to use and has the functionality to meet the needs of most bloggers and website creators who don’t need the extensive options of Photoshop.
There are many other sites that provide great information on WordPress, website building, and marketing. Sometimes, our service is really focused on helping you find what you’re looking for, even when it’s not from us.

With guides, tutorials, and articles covering all aspects of WordPress, this site truly has something for everyone. Be ready to spend some time and learn a lot.
The main WordPress website includes user forums where you can ask questions and search for information. Please note that this is only to support WordPress plus free themes and plugins. If you have purchased a premium theme or plugin and need support, please contact the creator of the theme or plugin.
iThemes Security (formerly Better WP Security)
You can find the free version of this plugin in the WordPress Plugin Repository. Use the one click configuration, and you’ll have a good start on making your site more secure. Spend a little time going through the recommendations, and you’ll greatly increase the security on your site.
There is also a premium version of this plugin that we will be testing soon.
If you want site scanning plus cleanup, if you ever are hacked, we highly recommend Sucuri. They have saved the sites of many of our clients.
If you are editing CSS or PHP, you need to use a text editor NOT a word processor.
Our two favorite free Text Editors are Tincta for Mac and Notepad ++ for PC. Both are easy to use and will display proper markup for CSS, HTML, and PHP.
There are several WordPress themes that we use and recommend for websites. One of our current favorites is Divi by Elegant Themes. This premium theme is very flexible and powerful. Stay tuned for a free series of posts and tutorials for the Divi theme.
